General Notes
General course notes for the Nest: Road and beyond for any road that comes into play on the Nest is OB and beyond. You will play from where it last crossed in bounds with 1 penalty stroke. This includes the Gravel road on hole 15 and 16 as well as the main paved road on hole 1 and 18. It is the groups responsibility in determining if a disc is fully out of bounds and where it crossed so pay attention to each other's shots.
The only water in play on the nest is the main lake body. The lake plays at out of bounds and any shot entering the main lake body will play from where it crossed OB with 1 penalty stroke.
The nest is not even a year old yet so there is still some random pieces of very old barbwire that can still be found throughout the course. There is a little on the left side of hole 5 and in the Ditch by hole 17s basket. you may take up to 2 meters relief on the line of play no closer to the basket for any barbwire that may come into play. (again its minimal but it is out there) be mindful.
Hole 17 Mandatory: There is a single mandatory on hole 17 of the Nest. This is to protect players on the teepad of 18. if the Mandatory has been determined by the group to be missed by a player you must proceed to the dropzone with 1 penalty stroke and resume play from there.
